Philippians Chapter 1 (Part)

1 I am a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Grace and peace are mine from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 I am thankful to my God for His good- ness in others.

4 I pray for others with joy.

5 I value partnership in the gospel.

6 I am confident that God who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

7 I defend and confirm the gospel, and God’s grace is with me.

8 I long for others with the affection of Christ Jesus.

9 My love abounds more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,

10 therefore, I am able to discern what is best; I am pure and blameless until the day of Christ.

11 Iamfilledwiththefruitofrighteousness that comes through Jesus Christ — to the glory and praise of God.

12 My circumstances serve to advance the gospel.

14 My life is a catalyst to God’s people eve- rywhere to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but I out of goodwill.

16 I do so in love, knowing the truth of the word of God.

17 I will never preach Christ out of selfish ambition, or insincerely, or to stir up trouble in the body of Christ…
