Joel Chapter 2
1 The word of the Lord comes to me.
2 I enjoy unprecedented grace and tender mercies of God.
3 My children key into it and my posterity will thrive on the benefits of Christ.
4 I shall never know or experience the locust swarm attacks, or the great locusts’ devour, or the young locusts’ ravage, or other locusts invasion.
5 The new wine shall not be snatched from my lips.
6 Those who invade others avoid me — though powerful and without number; with the teeth of a lion and the fangs of a lioness. The Lord is mightily with me and no one dares me.
7 My vines and fig trees thrive.
8 I rejoice like a virgin in her wedding gown on the day of her wedding.
9 My worship and service to God will not be cut off; I shall not mourn in the ser- vice of God.
10 My fields flow with milk and honey, my ground is wet with water; my grain is of the highest quality, my new wine is ever flowing and my oil does not fail.
12 The joy of mankind thrives at my hand.
13 The work of the Lord prospers at my hand without effort; my prayers are answered and my worship acceptable to God.
14 I practice the holy fast and partake in the fellowship of the saints…
