2 Thessalonians Chapter 3 (Part)

1 The message of the Lord spread rapidly and is honored at my hand.

2 I am delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith.

3 The Lord is faithful, and He strengthens and protects me from the evil one.

4 I have confidence in the Lord that I will obey His word to the end.

5 The Lord directs my heart into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.

6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the scriptures.

7 I am not idle among the people,

8 nor do I eat anyone’s food without pay- ing for it. On the contrary, I work so that I will not be a burden to anyone.

9 I do this, even when I have the right to such help, but in order to make myself a model for others to follow.

10 I believe the rule: “A man unwilling to work will not get to eat.”

11 God is a worker; and I am a son/daughter like Him. I am not a busybody meddling in other people’s affairs…
