Corinthians Chapter 10
I don’t live by the standards of this world.

Though I live in the flesh, I do not wage war according to the flesh.

The weapons I fight with are not physical or of the flesh, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

I demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and I take captive of every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

My obedience is complete; therefore, the Lord readily punishes every act of disobedience against me.

I look beyond the obvious; my eyes see through the façade of men. I not only belong to Christ; I also recognize my brothers and sisters in the faith by the Spirit of God.

I am neither a benchmark nor authority for anyone; I will not lend myself to the stupidity of comparing, grading, and competing with others in the Body of Christ.

I stick myself to the grace God puts on me; I am satisfied to occupy my position in Christ.

I have no flair for authority usurpation; I will not seek to exercise authority where I don’t have oversight.

–16 Neither willI go beyond my limits by boasting of work done by others. I am not in the business of credit taking; I will not involve myself in shameful duplicity of effort.

I boast in the Lord because it is written, “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”

I am approved because it is the Lord that commends me.
