Genesis 1: 1-8
1 The Lord is the creator of my heaven and earth; my universe is purposely cre- ated and responsibly governed by the Almighty God and only source of life.
2 My world is constituted and lively; light is over the surface of my deep, and the Spirit of God hovers over my waters.
3 As God said, “Let there be light,” I have light consistently.
4 My light remains good as God saw it, and it is separate from the darkness.
5 For me light is “day” and the darkness “night.” I have evening, and I have morning — just as God described the first day.
6 At God’s command, I live in-between waters.
7 The water beneath and the water above.
8 My sky is soft and fluidly but not hard. My evening is separate from my morning — as it was the second day.
