Isaiah 1
1 I have the vision concerning the Church; I know the mind of God for my generation.
2 I will not rebel against the Lord; He created me, reared me and brought me up.
3 I know God and I understand Him.
4 I am not a sinful person or a man/woman loaded with guilt; I am not an evildoer and I am not given to corruption! I will not forsake the Lord; I will not spurn the Holy One of Israel or turn my back on Him.
5 I shall not be beaten at all. I have no snack for rebellion. My whole head is healthy; my whole heart is full of joy.
6 From the sole of my foot to the top of my head, there is no sickness —no wound or bruises or open sores, no need for cleansing or bandage or soothing oil.
7 My country (family) will not go into ruin and my cities will not be devoured by fire; my fields will not be stripped by foreigners even in my absence, or laid waste as when overthrown by strangers.
8 I will not be left like a shelter in a vine- yard, or like a hut in a field of melons, or like a city under siege.
13 My offering to God is meaningful! I am a son (daughter) of God and I cannot do without Him.
14 The Lord loves my worship and thanks- giving; they are acceptable to Him.
